Permits to Film

There are many places that require permits or permission to film within the Northern Territory. 

Filming in the Northern Territory’s Parks and Reserves requires permission from the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory.  Some areas require permission from the Australian Government’s Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities.

Filming on Aboriginal owned land also requires permission from the relevant land council and permission is required from local councils to film within the NT’s towns.For further information we advise that you contact the relevant people.

Filming in NT's National Parks
