Deadloch heads north for season 2 to the Top End for a tropical gothic mystery!

The global hit crime‑comedy Deadloch returns on 20 March 2026 on Prime Video, swapping Tasmania’s icy noir for the Northern Territory’s steamy tropical gothic.

This season, detectives Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami) arrive in Darwin to investigate the death of Eddie’s former partner - only to be drawn into a new mystery when a body part is discovered in remote Barra Creek. With missing backpackers, crocodile‑fuelled tourism, overstretched Indigenous rangers and seven‑metre predators lurking in the waterways, the humidity rises and so do the secrets.

Supported by Screen Territory and filmed in Batchelor and Darwin, season 2 showcases the NT’s red dirt horizons, lush canopies and croc‑filled waterways to audiences on Amazon Prime in 240+ countries and territories.

Created by Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan and featuring returning favourites Kate Box and Madeleine Sami alongside Luke Hemsworth, Steve Bisley, Shari Sebbens and Ursula Yovich, Deadloch continues to elevate Territory locations and talent on the world stage.

The series was directed by Gracie Otto and Territorian Beck Cole.
