Five Territory screenwriters and producers have been selected to pitch their projects at the 10th PostScript&Direct event taking place on Sunday 6 August at the Forum Theatre in Melbourne.
The Territory participants include Northern Territory (NT) filmmakers Rebecca McLean, Samantha Laughton, Patrick Hogan, Justin Grant and Danielle Loy.
PostScript&Direct is a feature event of the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) 37ºSouth Market which commences on the 4 August and runs up to 7 August 2022.
This selective event allows producers to pitch their script-stage screen projects to potential financiers and other attendees also include Territory producers Bridget May, Phil Tarl Denson, Angelo Razafimamonjy and Brindle Films Rachel Clements and Trisha Morton-Thomas.
MIFF 37ºSouthMarket also includes screenings for buyers, modules for publishers and IP owners pitching to producers their manuscripts/creative assets for potential screen adaptations, and writers pitching their screenplays to producers, plus panel discussions.
The NT Government has provided travel support to attendee’s, through Screen Territory’s grants program.
