Rachel Clements is a co-founder of Brindle Films, based in Alice Springs, and the producer of award-winning films, television dramas and documentaries. Recent productions include MaveriX (AACTA nomination, ABC and Netflix, co-created by Rachel), and feature documentaries Audrey Napanangka (Best Social Documentary Award at Beyond Borders International Documentary Film Festival), Finke: There and Back (AACTA nomination, Netflix, Stan) and The Song Keepers (Walkley/Banff/Film Critics Circle of Australia nominations).
Rachel has produced television drama projects including 8MMM Aboriginal Radio (ABC, Netflix, co-created by Rachel), and Double Trouble (AACTA nomination, AWGIE winner), and documentaries including Occupation: Native (SPA’s Best Documentary Award), Blown Away (Best Documentary at inaugural DIFF Capricornia Film Awards) and Big Name No Blanket (Best Documentary at FIFO). Rachel has served on the Screen Producers of Australia Council and is a current member of the Screen Industry Advisory Council of the Northern Territory and a Board member of Regional Arts Australia.
