Jomon Thomas – Producer
Jomon Thomas is a film producer whose work travels across borders, bringing universally resonant stories to the screen.
His most recent film, Monkey Man, Dev Patel’s directorial debut, was released worldwide by Universal Pictures, won the Audience Award at SXSW 2024, earned a BAFTA nomination, and has been recognised internationally with awards including Best Action & Adventure Movie by Rotten Tomatoes critics (Golden Tomato).
He is currently in post-production on Place to Be, directed by Kornél Mundruczó (Pieces of a Woman), featuring Oscar-winning screen icon Ellen Burstyn alongside Taika Waititi, Pamela Anderson, Murray Bartlett, and Lena Waithe.
Jomon’s earlier credits include Hotel Mumbai and The Man Who Knew Infinity, both acclaimed for their ability to bring powerful human stories to the screen. He leads development and production at Mirador Pictures (a S’YA Concept company), building projects designed to reach across cultures and speak to diverse audiences.
Before his career in film, Jomon studied Aviation Management and held senior management positions with the Emirates Group in Dubai, an experience that honed his global outlook, strategic discipline, and ability to guide complex ventures.
