Anna Howard - ACS
Anna Howard ACS started in the Australian Film Industry in 1980 as acamera assistant in drama, documentaries and TV commercials.
In 1995 Anna began working as a cinematographer. As a Director of Photography she has worked with many top directors incuding Ray
Lawrence and Gillian Armastrong. Anna is known for her subtle lighting and her ability to work collaboratively with actors.
She worked on award winning Australian TV series Rake in 2010 and the following year she was nominated for Best Cinematography in the Film Critics Circle Award for the film South Solitary, directed by Shirley Barrett.
For the past 30 years Anna has worked on many films, TV series, documentaries and commercials inn Australia and overseas winning
numerous awards for her lighting and images.

Anna Howard ACS is a respected cinematographer and a campaigner for equal opportunities. Anna was awarded ACS Accreditation in 2004 and was inducted into the ACS Hall of Fame in 2019.
