Erica Glynn - Writer/ Director
Erica is an award-winning screen writer and director whose story-telling career spans over 20 years.
A Drama directing graduate from the Australian, Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), she cut her teeth working for the Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association (CAAMA) in Alice Springs.
She’s made many documentaries and is known for delivering stories that matter to audiences today, including In My Own Words and She Who Must Be Obeyed Loved winner best documentary at the Sydney Film Festival in June 2019.
Erica’s television works include executive producer on the AACTA Award winning TV series Redfern Now, and the Indigenous-led drama series Gods of Wheat Street and comedy drama 8MMM Aboriginal Radio.
Her credits also include writing for the Logie winning animated series Little J and Big Cuz and two of her episodes Where’s Aaron and Swooper won the Australian Writers Guild Award for children’s television.
She was co-creator, writer and director on the ground-breaking 4 – part drama series True Colours for NITV & SBS.
She is currently in Postproduction on her debut feature film - Language of Birds
