Sam Meikle - Screenwriter
Sam is a multi award-winning writer and creator with credits across a broad range of television dramas, comedies, animation and web series. He’s worked extensively in development for many of Australia’s leading production companies, his short films have screened around the world, he’s been engaged to develop multiple feature film projects, and he’s a writing graduate of the AFTRS and NIDA.

- a co-creator, head writer and executive producer of MaveriX in ABC, Netflix
- head writer and Co-Executive Producer of Last King of the Cross Season 2 in Paramount+
- a writer on The Twelve Season 3 in Binge and Return to Paradise Season 3 in ABC, BBC.
In 2023 he was selected for the The Creators, the Screen Australia / AWG showrunning program, and in 2025 he was invited to the Series Mania Writers’ Campus in Lille France.
