Tim Bain is an international television writer with credits on beloved children’s series including:

  • Bluey
  • PJ Masks
  • Fireman Sam
  • Bob the Builder
  • Thomas & Friends
  • Aardman Animation’s Morph.

He is the creator of ABC Kids’ action-comedy series Kangaroo Beach, which received over 35 million views in its first year and won a Screen Producers of Australia award.

He served as showrunner for his HBO Max series Let’s Go, Bananas! based on his family life as a gay dad. The series won a 2025 Kidscreen Award and has enjoyed over 100 million views on YouTube Shorts.

His new action-adventure ABC Kids series Knee High Spies won a Screen Producers of Australia award and a Banff Rockie Award and was recently nominated for a Logie. It has since premiered on BBC and a second season is in now production for premiere in 2027.
