Helen O'Loan - Production Designer
Helen O'Loan APDG is an AACTA and APDG-nominated Production Designer with over twenty years' experience across Australian and international screen.
She has just finished Art Directing a US period feature set in 1935 San Francisco, shot at Docklands Studios Melbourne, and recently designed the second season of the Emmy-nominated Deadloch (Amazon), which relocated the series from Tasmania to the Territory — building the fictional town of Barra Creek across Larrakia Country in Darwin, Kungarakan and Warrai Country at Batchelor, and a Meanjin/Brisbane soundstage some 4,000 kilometres away.
Her other credits include Black Snow (Stan/BBC/AMC), Two Years Later (Paramount+), the Netflix features Mother of the Bride and Audrey, and earlier set design on the Oscar, BAFTA and ADG-winning The Great Gatsby, the ADG-nominated Unbroken, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Chronicles of Narnia.
Beyond screen, she has delivered public installations and experiential design activations for Nike, Diageo, Netflix and Universal Music.
