Delvene has enjoyed a long and successful career as a model, weather girl, television host and actress, including 6 years as lead actress on THE PAUL HOGAN SHOW, and 2 years on SALE OF THE CENTURY, winning the Logie for Most Popular Female Television Personality in 1986.
In 1985, Delvene joined her late husband, John Cornell, co-creator and producer of Crocodile Dundee, on the set of the film in Kakadu and New York City. In 1987 Delvene crewed on the production of Crocodile Dundee II as director’s assistant, second unit producer and stills co-ordinator. In 1990, Delvene crewed in the same roles on Almost an Angel in Los Angeles.
From 2020, Delvene began managing Rimfire Films, the IP owners of Crocodile Dundee, curating, preserving and protecting the legacy of the company’s film and television assets, including the restoration of Crocodile Dundee, which led to the discovery of John’s extensive archive of documents, original scripts, stills and behind-the-scenes footage.
In 2025, Delvene and Victoria Baldock, content director for Rimfire Films, together co-directed, co-wrote and co-produced the documentary, Love of an Icon: The Legend of Crocodile Dundee, an engaging, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the unseen obstacles this incredible film faced before its phenomenal global success. The documentary has now won 45 international awards and is broadcast globally.
Delvene and Victoria have just completed their second film project, a commissioned one-hour television special for the 9 Network.
